My Journey

Hello, I’m Kasun. Born and raised in Sri Lanka, a country deeply rooted in Buddhist traditions, my journey into Tantra started with a simple yet profound curiosity about the nature of spiritual wisdom. As a child, I was introduced to Buddhism as the ultimate path to liberation. However, while studying history in school, I encountered a puzzling question: Why, despite originating in India, did Buddhism not become the dominant spiritual force there?

This question led me on an intellectual and spiritual quest. As I explored Hinduism, I realized that the modern, popular version of Hinduism was far from its true origins. I sought deeper knowledge and soon discovered the profound wisdom of Shiva – the source of Yoga and Tantra. While both Yoga and Tantra fascinated me, it was Tantra that truly resonated with my core. Every new layer of tantric wisdom I uncovered left me in awe, pulling me deeper into its philosophy and practices.

After completing my school education, I pursued a professional career in Digital Marketing, becoming a Chartered Marketer. However, Tantra never left my life – it became a constant presence, shaping my perspective, my lifestyle, and my purpose.

When I moved to Australia, I was heartbroken to see how Tantra and Yoga had been distorted for commercial gain in the Western world. I witnessed self-proclaimed gurus and practitioners selling false promises, marketing Tantra as mere sexual pleasure and Yoga as just a fitness routine. Concepts like ‘Kundalini awakening’ and ‘enlightenment’ were being peddled as products. The sacred wisdom that was meant for true seekers was now a business model, stripped of its authenticity.

Unlike many spiritual paths, Tantra does not demand blind faith, priests, or rigid doctrines. It is a path of techniques – a science of self-discovery for those who are open to embracing life fully. Tantra does not seek followers; it welcomes seekers.

I deeply believe that both Tantra and Shiva’s teachings have not received the recognition they deserve in this world. As a digital marketer, I use my skills to spread awareness about the true essence of Tantra and to debunk the myths surrounding it. Through my content, I aim to guide people toward a deeper understanding of Shiva’s wisdom, free from commercialisation and distortion.
